The Mercedes Benz Pop-up Shop at the INTU Trafford Centre has been staffed by a Skillbox store manager and brand ambassadors providing support to the Mercedes Benz dealer network team.
Our team are the warm and welcoming open-face of Mercedes Benz Cars bringing the brand to life at the Pop-up Shop. The Skillbox teams job is to deliver an outstanding non-driving and brand experience, exposing and bringing Mercedes Benz cars to life to those who do not know the brand, its values and its cars.
The Skillbox managers responsibilities are not limited to but include:
- Opening and the closing store.
- Managing staff, breaks and rotas.
- Store ‘voice’ & point of contact between MBUK and Retailer
- Daily reporting – i.e. footfall, leads and merchandise sales.
- H&S– awareness, reporting and fire alarm testing.
- Merchandise sales management and inventory control.
- Customer management including complaints.
- Till and data capture app.
- Staff guidance and training, as well as store insight and recommendations (what works well, what needs developing)
- Ensuring content works on all screens
- Liaison with the shopping centre management as and where necessary reporting any issues.
- Charging iPads.
- Sound system and Formula 1 Simulator operation.
- Ensuring the shop is clean and tidy at all times.
